WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED?

Only include this painting when I know
no children are going to be present.

By now I was numb, viewing all the previous visions,
but especially with this view.
It has baffled me for a long time, what it could refer to.
I hold it tentatively  on the period of ISIS cruelty
and violence against non-Islamics.

If it would be a warning, does it mean that this phenomenon
could come back? I intensely wish and pray it would not!

At least four deer here – a common view, looking from my kitchen
window when we lived in the forest.

Our new friend saw this dog while browsing at the art market
and immediately ran up to it to show his love

This sky looked like how it sounded yesterday night.
Never have seen lightning strikes following each other
as fast as the blinks of an eye,
and heard so many rolls of thunder. Next
morning hubs told that at one point he felt
the bed shaking! That must have been when it sounded
like an explosion Never a dull night here:)

  1. That’s a powerful painting, Jesh! In contrast, I enjoyed the view with the deer, which reminded me of our home in Ohio and the cabin in Wyoming. I hope your weekend’s been grand so far.

  2. Thank you Janet! This was the most difficult one to really portray what I saw, because it was so graphic! Sorry, I am so behind, and have not reacted to you previous comment yet:)
    I made my first video ever, and am grappling with the next steps to take. lol! Do you miss the more Northern parts where you lived?

  3. Sometimes I also feel lightning strikes here – the ground trembles. About six months ago, however, there was no thunderstorm, but an earthquake. Fortunately it was an easy one.
    Thank you for your lines about your stay in Lucca in 2013. True, the weather is similar to that in California. Nevertheless, it has a different charisma for me. In Italy I always feel the centuries-old history. In California I mainly felt nature, freedom, space. I love both. I wish you can return to Tuscany, too.

  5. Never thought about disjointed, Deborah. That thought or possibility is a very valid option!
    The seasons are more like Southern California, with an overriding sense of humidity! The difference in altitude was easier to deal with in the forest:) Do you feel completely adjusted now, where you live?
